I’m a huge Disney World fan. I’ve been going for the past 30+ years at least a dozen times or more a year. It’s a monthly road trip for us. In all of my visits I’ve learned a few things along the way including the fact that you can get stuff for free at Disney World. Here are just a few things I have found that are FREE at Disney world.
Free For Everyone At Disney
I love that cast members give out stickers to everyone adults included. I think I get more excited about this than most kids.
You can get a button that tells people why you are there from celebrating your birthday to your first visit. You can pick these up at any guest relations, hotel, or even now Disney has a large bin inside the magic kingdom where you can grab your own.
3. Disney Photopass
Photopass is free to use. You can get any of the professional Disney photographer to take your picture in hundreds of gorgeous settings. All the pictures are of high quality and professionally done. Then you can go online and choose the ones you want to purchase
4. Free Samples at Main Street confectionery
Not only does this place smell amazing but you can actually get free samples here. Treats like fudge or caramel apple pieces, also during the day you can watch cast members creating wonderful treats like cotton candy or candy covered apples.
We all know it’s important to stay hydrated especially here in Florida. Disney believes this to so ice water or a cup of ice is FREE at Disney World. Inside the Disney Parks at most counter service and snack stations, you can get one or both.. If you have a refillable bottle, they aren’t allowed to fill it for you, but they will give you as many cups of water as you need to fill it up.
There are several games available to play throughout parks at no extra charge. Epcot offers the Agent P game where you join in with Perry, Phineas, and Ferb to shut down Doofenshmirtz’s evil plan. When entering Magic Kingdom each day you can pick up a new set of playing cards at the Firehouse and use them to fight virtual villains around the park. The cards are free, one set per day. In Adventureland you can join up with the likes of Captain Jack Sparrow using a series of maps to gain control of the seven seas.
7. Ghirardelli chocolate
At Disney Springs you can receive a free piece of chocolate here or you can treat yourself to one of their many delicious chocolate desserts or drinks.
8. World Showcase Kidcot Fun Stops
These Kidcot Fun Stops can be found in Epcot. Kids will have the chance to discover sights and sounds from 11 different countries and make crafts that they can take home as souvenirs. This is especially fun if you’re bringing kids under the age of 5 to Disney World.
9. Club Cool in Future World
Here you can sample free cups of soda from around the world. Hosted by Coke-Cola you can step in to cool down and enjoy a beverage or two from other countries. You can also find merchandise here from Coke Cola to purchase.
Disney transportation is complimentary and includes quite an array of types of transportation: Bus, Ferry Boat, Small Boat Transfers, Monorail, and now the newest transportation the Skyliner. You don’t have to have a ticket to enjoy the monorail plus it gives you a fun way to get a quick peek at what to expect. Also, take advantage of the bus system again no ticket require to visit the different resorts. We love exploring the resort t see where we want to stay on our next visit. My new favorite way to travel is by Skyliner so be sure to take a ride as always it’s free.
12. Free Drawing Lessons
There are now two places where you can enjoy FREE drawing lessons every day at Walt Disney World. One of those is found at the Art of Animation resort. These classes are open to all guests even if you’re not staying at the Art of Animation Resort. The second one is the Animation Experience at the Conservation Station in Animal Kingdom.
12. Pixie Dust
Of course, it’s not a Disney Vacation unless you’re sprinkled with Pixie Dust, right? Did you know that you can get complimentary Pixie Dust at Magic Kingdom? Visit Sir Mickey’s to receive your FREE pixie dust. It’s sure to have you glowing all day long!
